A number of Joint Opposition MPs today signed a petition prepared by the National Movement to Protect War Heroes against what it describes as an International War Crime Court to ‘hunt down’ soldiers. The signature campaign was held outside Parliament Complex in Battaramulla. MPs Dinesh Gunawardena, Bandula Gunawardane, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Kumara Welgama, Gamini Lokuge, Janaka Bandara Tennakoon and Rohitha Abeygunawardena were among the MPs who signed the petition.
