Three youth, who allegedly killed a spotted deer, were arrested in Dambulla during a raid on Tuesday.
The police found the weapon allegedly used for the killing and several torches along with the body of the killed animal.
The suspects, residents of Kalogahaela, Dambulla are to be produced in the Dambulla Magistrate’s Court.
