SLCB and SriLankan host Chinese travel agents

Sri Lanka Convention Bureau together with SriLankan Airlines hosted a group of 15 travel agents recently and were shown many locations and attractions in Sri Lanka including MICE facilities in the country.

The group had B2B sessions at the end of the tour in Colombo at SLITHM.

‘This is conducted under the FAM tours program where we give them a first hand experience to enable them to market Sri Lanka to their clients,’ said Achini Dandunnage , Senior Manager SLCB.

China is an important market and the attempt of SLCB and Sri Lankan were to bring in Incentive Travel from China which has a high spending leisure segment.
