Sri Lanka was represented at the 17th International  Exhibition on Tourism held in Bangkok Thailand, by Safari International Company Limited, a firm owned by a Sri Lankan domiciled in Thailand.

Managing Director of Safari International Company, Nalaka Niroshan Karunathilaka had to face many odds in securing this opportunity to have a stall depicting several areas of tourism in Sri Lanka.
Niroshan said that he achieved this feat through his self commitments not with the purpose of earning profits, but with the sole aim of depicting the beauty of Sri Lanka and its tourist attractions.

Being a resident of Thailand for more than 15 years and involved in tourism, he had been a reputed service provider for thousand of visitors arriving in Thailand from Sri Lanka.
The newly appointed Sri Lankan Ambassador to Thailand, Kshenuka Senevirathne too visited the exhibition stall of  Nalaka Niroshan.
