Cinnamon Grand Colombo has added a new entry point for guests patronising the hotel’s grand ballroom (Oak Room) with the opening of a new lifestyle complex for the hotel’s associates.
The Oak Room, considered Colombo’s most sought-after venue for events, will enhance its capacity with this new value addition, which has created an exclusive roadway that connects to Utharananda Road (Nawama Mawatha) for easier access.
Directly leading to the ballroom entrance, guests now have the opportunity to give their vehicles for valet parking at this entrance, enabling faster service.
The Oak Room is Colombo’s largest and most grandiose ballroom and is a popular choice for gala events such as weddings, conferences and exhibitions. Blending contemporary and classical decor with amber chandeliers and oak wood panels, the Oak Room allows for an expansive seating capacity of 600 participants conference style or 500 guests banquet style.
The Oak Room can be split into four rooms and three of the rooms have the flexibility to open into the pre-function areas. A wooden dance floor can be set up on request. Whatever the event may be, the Oak Room is sure to turn it into a grand and memorable occasion.
