SriLankan Airlines, in its continuous effort in expanding business throughout its network, recently made a special arrangement of a leisure cum educational tour to Sri Lanka for students of the University of Lahore.
Accordingly, a batch of 15 students and two officials from the university’s Aviation Faculty travelled to Sri Lanka and expanded their horizons in the aviation industry at the SriLankan Aviation College (SLAC), the training wing of SriLankan Airlines, at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo. Thereafter, the visiting students joined a leisure tour organised by SriLankan Holidays, the leisure arm of the airline.
Promoting travel and educational tours among university students in the region is yet another step initiated by Sri Lanka’s national carrier, prompting young travellers to experience visiting Sri Lanka and other neighbouring countries. SriLankan Airlines offers lasting opportunities for them to experience unmatched hospitality whilst flying to their
respective destinations.
With the largest route network in the Asian region, SriLankan Airlines is now the most desired airline for group travel and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions)-related activities throughout
its network.
SriLankan now has a route network covering 100 cities in 47 countries and as a member of the oneworld airline alliance is part of oneworld’s network of over 1,000 destinations in
160 countries.
