Kuwait Airways the National Carrier of the State of Kuwaitoffers free lounge facility for all economy class passengers who travel to London, Rome, Paris, Geneva, Frankfurt, Istanbul & New York provided as a compliment to the travelers.
This facility is provided at the Palm Strip Lounge at Bandaranaike International Airport. After the check-ins passengers could have their breakfast meal and rest before they board to flight. Passengers can also access free Internet service from the lounge while they rest in.
Kuwait Airways has now introduced an attractive fare to suit all travelers who fly to European sectors such as London, Rome, Paris, Geneva & Frankfurt Return starting from Rs.50,200 for economy class travelers and Rs 129,900for Business Class travelers and first class fare starting from Rs. 230,000 & offer valid for travel up to the 30th June 2016. New York economy class fare Rs.69,100 and Business class fare Rs.197,100. In addition to the mega sale this offer would be applicable for Middle Eastern Sectors such as Dubai, Jeddah, Medina, Amman, Doha, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Cairo & Tehran
Sudesh Rupasinghe, Country Manager-SL, Kuwait Airways said: “Passengers travelling on economy class to Europe/USA Sectorscan now enjoy free lounge facility at Palm Strip Lounge BIA Airport Colombo as a part of compliment from the Airline. Kuwait Airways is the only carrier which provides this facility at present. Kuwait Airways now provides 46KG Baggage allowance to any sector as a special offer valid till 30th June 2016.
Kuwait Airways has already taken delivery of its first A330-200, becoming a new operator for the type & currently on service 12 Airbus aircraft including 7 A320ceo and 5 A330-200s in addition to the purchase of 25 aircraft including 10 A350-900 and 15 A320neo Family aircraft marking the start of a major fleet renewal plan.
