Currently in consideration for the Oscars, Gehan Cooray’s long awaited feature film THE BILLIONAIRE, held a star-studded, red-carpet premiere at the PVR Cinema, One Galle Face Mall, Wednesday evening. The film which has won the Best Comedy Feature Award at the Burbank International Film Festival, will be released in cinemas across Colombo and its suburbs by Ceylon Theaters from the 19th of March onwards. Gehan portrays the title character in ‘THE BILLIONAIRE’, having adapted the Screenplay himself, from a George Bernard Shaw play called ‘The Millionairess’.
