Under 19 Limited Over Successive wins for Wesley, Mahanama and Mahinda

Wesley along with Mahanama Colombo and Mahinda Galle recorded their second successive wins of the ongoing Under 19 inter-school limited over tournament overcoming DSS, St. Benedict’s and St. Aloysius  in the matches played at Campbell Park, Kotahena and Galle yesterday.  


Wesley propelled by a knock of 57 from Sahil Dias and an unbroken stand of 66 runs for the seventh wicket between Rakith Fernando and Anudith Wickramasinghe secured a four wicket win.Mahinda helped by half tons from Kosala Udayanga, Navod Paranavithana and Rashmika Madusanka coasted to a comfortable 86 run win, while Mahanama overcame St. Benedict’s by 91 runs.


In the other matches played Prince of Wales along with Thurstan, St. Sebastian’s, Lumbini MV, St. Joseph Vaz Wennappuwa and Isipathana came out victorious.
