Prashan, Harindu guide Royal

Half tons by Prashan Kalhara and Harindu Palihawadana helped Royal College, Colombo record an easy first innings win over D.S. Senanayake College in the U-19 inter-school cricket encounter concluded at the Army ground in Panagoda yesterday.   


The second day’s play saw the pair guiding Royal, who resuming from their overnight score of 130 for 5, ended their innings with a formidable score of 323 in reply to DSS’s score of 213 runs.   


In the other matches which ended yesterday, De Mazenod and Lyceum IS, Panadura secured first innings wins and Loyala College, Negombo recording an outright win by an innings and 28 runs against St. John’s, Nugegoda.
