Kandy SC may have been boosted by former Captain Fazil Marija returning to coach the team for the upcoming Inter-Club rugby league season but have lost Viraj Prasanna as their Forwards Coach.
The former Isipathana College, CR & FC and National player opted to return to Colombo due to his personal commitments after his short stint with the Up-country unit.
Meanwhile, another former Kandy SC player, Buddhika Thalagampola is tipped to replace him.
Kandy SC lost Thilina Wijesinghe to CH & FC and two more props, Ashan Darling and Ganuka Dissanayake, to Navy SC. However they were able to secure Shawket Lahir from Havelock SC. (SJ)
