Kosgollage was a retired athletic coach attached to the Kosgalle Sports Ministry and Central Provincial Council.
A former athletic coach of Peradeniya University, Kosgollage served as a Senior Technical Official of Sri Lanka Athletics at the time of his death.
He officiated as a Technical Officer at National and international level competitions for over 35 years.
His remains lie at his ancestral home in Pihibuwa, Ridigama in Kurunegala and his funeral will take place today, at the Pihibuwa Family Burial Grounds in Ridigama, Kurunegala. (SP)
