Rain ruined the opening day’s play in the SLC Emerging Trophy Inter-Club Cricket Tournament match between BRC and Galle CC played at the BRC Grounds yesterday.
Galle CC taking first lease of the wicket were able to face only 35 overs and reached 107 for seven in their first innings when play was called off.
Galle CC: 107/7 (Ravishka Wijesiri 26, Chanuka Santhush 22, Vinura Dulsara 21 n.o, Duvindu Tillekeratne 3/47, Ashian Daniel 2/37) vs BRC.
