A wonderful chapter filled with creativity and innovation under the leadership of Rtr Avishka Perera drew to an end, opening a new chapter for the year 2019/20 under the leadership of Rtr Shanithi Dilshara Vithanagamage.
Under the theme of ‘Here for humanity’, the title of presidency and duties were passed on to Rtr Shanithi Dilshara, along with her board of directors for the year 2019/20 at the ceremonious 5th Installation of Rotaract Club of Wattala held at DHPL auditorium, recently. Rtr Shanithi Dilshara conveyed her sincere gratitude towards the past presidents, past and present director boards and all the members of the Rotaract Club of Wattala for trusting her with the given title and for the tremendous support and love received throughout the previous years. Pledging towards creating a society where humanity is celebrated, Rtr Shanithi Dilshara commented saying “ Choosing this year theme based on humanity is a small step that we took towards creating a society where humanity is our religion and love is our race.”
Following the successful conclusion of the 5th installation ceremony, Rotaract Club of Wattala extends their heartiest gratitude to all the participants, well-wishers and everyone who supported to make this event a major success.
