At a special event held at Royal College on the 22nd of February 2018, AVI took on the role of the Platinum sponsor of the Royal College Athletic Team for 2018. Present at the event were Mr. Asanka Rajapaksa, General Manager of D. Samson & Sons (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. B. A. Abeyrathne, the Principal of Royal College and senior officials of the school.
