They switch their party allegiance

A group of active followers of a prominent yahapalanaya politician had called on the scion of Boralugoda last week and pledged their support to him.


This group of political activists had met the politician while the Central Committee of his cartwheel party was in session, they say.  The political activists had charged that their erstwhile leader had now gone back on his avowed commitment to the unitary status of the state and therefore, they had lost their faith in him.
