The latest bid is as high as Rs.150 million

The price of a Diyawanna member has sky-rocketed at the auctions now being held by both sides of the great divide in the wake of the recent crossovers.

Two members from the two sides were recently having a hush-hush over the bids they had received. When one of them said that he had been offered an amount as high as Rs.150 million, the other is said to have exclaimed: “What a coincidence! I have discovered that I too am worth that much!”
