He is resigned to losing five lorries a day

Bigwigs of opposition political parties who attended the propaganda rally in Polonnaruwa were entertained to tea by Dudley, the brother of the Compassionate One at his Araliya Restaurant.

While having tea, Tissa from the Green party inquired from Dudley whether it was true that several of his lorries transporting rice to distant places were attacked and extensively damaged by hooligans.

“I expected this kind of attacks when I decided to take a hand in my brother’s campaign,” replied Dudley with a smile. “However, even if they burned down five lorries a day, I would still have 25 lorries left by the time the election is over.”
