Green Chief perturbed over raging battle for ‘manape’

The Green party chief had to issue a stern warning to certain  party candidates to stop fighting over the ‘manape’  and do their best to ensure the victory of the party.



There was fierce fighting over the ‘manape’ among the Green candidates in the fray in the Colombo district. Some candidates had the audacity even to issue public statements damaging to fellow-runners, they say.

The Green party chief had also advised the bellicose candidates to use all their efforts to win the electorates assigned to them adding that those winning their electorates would get precedence over others when it comes to allocating Ministerial portfolios.
