There is a white-collar high-up at the august assembly for whom life has become all gloom and despondency ever since a very high political authority had gone out of office, they say.
Whenever the former high political authority paid an official visit to a foreign country, he would take this high-up with him as a privileged member of his entourage and thus he (the latter) had a very good time going around the world at least once a month enjoying the best of perks and comforts at state expense.
The white-collar high-up’s fluency in a key language which was not the high political authority’s forte had helped him become a useful companion of the latter during these foreign trips, they say.
There could be none so down-hearted following the high political authority’s loss of office as this white-collar high-up, some august assembly employees say.
