Two political party leaders of the Green-led front had agreed to a request made to them not to address the propaganda rallies held in Colombo and elsewhere in the South, they say.
According to this request made by the organising committee, these two leaders are expected to address the rallies held only in the areas where they command voter support.
These two-party leaders are not happy with this arrangement, but they had given it their consent as they are keen about the victory of the Green candidate, they say.
One of these two leaders command wide voter support in the East and the other leader hails from a district north of Wayamba where he is said to be popular, they say.
