Scuffles had broken out among the members of the same political party during the sittings of a people’s body of a main city in the West recently, they say.
Many people had witnessed the ugly scene as the incident had occurred on a Public Day. Heated exchanges that broke out during a discussion on alleged embezzlement of some Rs. 23 million out of the funds released for the purchase of equipment for school children in the area had led to fisticuffs among some members, they say.
