A Diyawanna politico at state level hailing from Wayamba had during a pilgrimage to a sacred city called on two prominent religious dignitaries and poured out his heart feelings over being denied a place in the top team.

“I have been denied high office I well deserve as they dislike me because of my habit of being quick to condemn what is wrong no matter who the doer is!” he had told the two religious’ dignitaries.

Both dignitaries had advised the state level politico to bide his time with patience.
