A fair one, an expert at reading the heavenly maps was appointed to a very high office in the upcountry recently.

She assumed duties in her new office several days after the appointment. Her office and the official residence are located in the same premises. Before sitting down to work, she decided to give a new look to both her official residence and the office.  She got all expensive carpets and curtains, shades and screens removed for a start.

The refurbishment of the official residence and the office still underway is estimated to cost the exchequer a tidy sum, they say.
