The Indian company that sealed a deal with the Ports Authority to develop and run the Western Container Terminal had ceremonially started the operations the other day.
However, the state purohita in charge of the subject of ports and shipping had learnt about the event quite later and he had got very angry and upset about not being invited to it!
Gnashing his teeth, the state purohita had rushed to Diyawanna and complained about this to a Pohottuwa high-up. “ I will not tolerate this injustice…I’ll do something drastic to teach them a lesson!” he had vowed. He also had added that he would have to consider whether he should remain further in the government.
Meanwhile, knowledgeable sources say that some serious backlash is in store for the Top Team Member concerned, for the state purohita, known to be a ‘man of action’, could be a formidable enemy.
