The announcement made by the former Yahapalanaya chief recently that he will run for the Number One office come the big poll, has rankled his alliance partners, because among the latter, there is one who himself is eyeing this coveted high office, they say.
The announcement has enraged a certain party leader in the ‘Helicopter’ group in particular who has, reportedly, long cherished the ambition of becoming the country’s Number One!
