Some protagonists of the battle raging at the top level of the Green party have turned peace-makers, they say.
For instance, a certain ‘Wickrama’ who once turned against his ‘royal’ pal to back Saji, is said to be now seeking the help of party seniors to build a bridge of goodwill between the warring duo.
‘Wickrama’ had the other day appealed to several party stalwarts from Uva to join forces with him to build the proposed goodwill bridge, but the latter had refused to have anything to do with his new effort vowing they would not deviate from the path they had already taken.
