He had recently received a dressing-down in choice Sinhala from a very high political authority.
The legal eagle had come in for the tongue-lashing when he was analyzing a vital decision taken by the high authority. He had tried his best to explain the rationale for his interpretation of the decision. But the highly provoked authority had become more vituperative in his harangue.
Finding the high authority was in no mood to listen to reason or carry on a sensible dialogue, the politico had walked out in a huff.
