The high authority suddenly decided to close the establishment, when he got exasperated over a dispute between a cleric and a group of laymen that had got dragged on for some time.
A section of the workforce, who lost their jobs due to the sudden closure of the establishment, had managed to secure alternative employment in the public sector, thanks to the patronage of some Government politicos.
The employees who were not so fortunate, and now deprived of a means of livelihood, have begun unfolding their tales of woe to the mass media.
This has unnerved the ex-head of the establishment, who reportedly has got a reason to fear that the investigations by the nosy media men could lead to an expose of his past sins.
Meanwhile, a rumour doing rounds these days says that the high authority has decided to appoint a commission of inquiry into financial crimes believed to have been committed by authorities who helmed the establishment.
