An informal decision is said to have been taken to keep away a certain prominent Diyawanna member from all government meetings and other collective activity.

Some say that this character who usually manipulates to secure a Diyawanna seat each time a party is elected to power although he is unable to muster 500 votes in the country, has demonstrated his aptitude time and again for staging conspiracies to undermine governments. 

If this character makes his appearance in a government meeting today, one would find him present in an opposition meeting tomorrow and he would mark his attendance at a meeting of the so-called independent group within the government day after tomorrow. 

The government high-ups who have been observing this politico’s conduct for some time, have now decided to close the government door to him and this decision is to be conveyed to him shortly, they say.
