The actor-turned-politico, now a purohita at state level, brought up the subject of cocaine-addict Diyawanna politicos yet again in the august assembly the other day.
This time around too, purohita presented some statistics instead of the names.
The assembly’s chair, however, said that there was nothing he could do about this allegation.
The purohita once again challenged his colleagues to submit themselves to the cocaine test to prove their innocence adding that he himself was submitting himself to a test to set an example.
The cocaine addiction allegation had sent at least one Diyawanna - a politico from cool climes in the central hill into a flutter. He had got down an astrologer from the neighbouring country at a high cost and had asked him to peruse his natal chart to check whether a drug-related calamity was in store for him.
The politico was highly shaken when the astrologer told him about his finding, they say.
