A politico of a minor local body located on the fringe of a forest reserve in the Matale District has lately developed a whimsy for taking selfies whenever he attends a public function in his area and posting them on the Facebook.
The latest selfie he had posted on the Facebook shows him with a group of bhikkhus taking meals at a Sanghika Dana.
This politico for whom this fad of taking selfies has become almost an obsession is said to be posting selfies on the Facebook practically every day and the people in the area have begun calling him ‘selfie-karaya’, they say.
