Yet another Special Community Service Project by the LB Finance CSR Unit

A special competition to create awareness on the environment and electronic waste was conducted on the 18th of February by LB Finance PLC.

Through this competition, every department of the organization was given the opportunity to come up with their own unique creations using the electronic waste items of the company.

Mr. Hidaya Shankar - Head of Operations at Think Green (Pvt) Ltd. and Mr. Mahesh Jalthota - Assistant Director of the Central Environment Authority were the adjudicators of this competition.

The Accounts Division was declared the Winners of the competition while the 2nd and 3rd Places were won by the Savings Deposits Division and the Insurance Division respectively. Consolation prizes were awarded to the Marketing and IT Departments as well.

President of the LB Finance CSR Team Mr. Roshan Jayawardene stated that this project was indeed an important step in creating greater awareness on electronic waste management among the general public.
