Maliban milk products awarded ‘OHSAS 18001: 2007’ certification

Maliban Milk became the first milk food company in Sri Lanka to be awarded the International Standards of ISO Certifications Trinity; ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and ISO 14001 from the Sri Lanka Standards Institution.
ISO 22000: 2005 is awarded for the successful implementation of Food Safety Management Systems, while ISO 14001: 2004 and ISO 9001: 2008 certify adherence to Environment Management System and Quality Management Systems.
In addition to the above, Maliban Milk Products are also the recipients of SLS- 731 product certification, HACCP and GMP system certifications.
Now in addition to all, Maliban Milk Products (Pvt) Ltd was granted OHSAS 18001 certification by the Sri Lanka Standards Institution for the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
This system eliminates or minimizes risk to employees and other interested parties who may be exposed to Occupational Health and Safety risks associated with its activities. Further to that, it develops employee confidence and morale by assuring workplace safety and enhances overall productivity of the organization as well as customer satisfaction and customer retention by safe products.
