Kelani Cables recognizes employee with CEO’s Award

Kelani Cables PLC, Sri Lanka’s number one brand in secure electrical and communication cables, honoured its outstanding sales person for sales excellence with the CEO’s Award recently.

The CEO’s award 2013/2014 being presented to Kelani Cables projects section’s Assistant Sales Manager Suranga PathiranaThe major annual award ceremony of the company was held for the fourth consecutive year at the Water’s Edge with the participation of Kelani Cables CEO Mahinda Saranapala. The CEO conferred the award to Suranga Pathirana; assistant sales manager of the kelani Cables PLC projects section.

Suranga Pathirana acknowledged the cash award wrapped with a foreign trip for exceeding his annual target by 27 percent to bring a record sales volume of 276 million rupees to the company.

Speaking at the occasion, Mahinda Saranapala, CEO, Kelani Cables PLC said the strength of any company is its committed workforce. Thus a successful organization’s responsibility is to recognize its employees who contribute towards the betterment and sustainability of the organization.
“CEO’s award is presented by Kelani Cables to the top performer in a particular year who has contributed towards sales excellence. This year’s award winner Suranga Pathirana has exceeded his targets to record a massive individual sales volume.
