Huawei powers England cricket tour of Sri Lanka

Huawei, the leading global smartphone maker, together with the support of Singer Sri Lanka PLC, the country’s number one brand and smartphone marketer, who is the exclusive national distributor for Huawei, came forth as an official sponsor for the England Cricket Tour in Sri Lanka, which commenced on November 2, 2014.
 


Representing Huawei, Head of Terminal Henry Liu was present at the official prematch press briefing held at R. Premadasa Stadium. Huawei will also be giving away the match winner’s award post all matches to the winning captain throughout the series.


The seven match one-day international series started off on November 26 at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo and will end on December 16 at the same grounds, with matches scheduled at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium, Sooriyawewa, Hambantota and Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

Huawei recently tied up with the first American sports club, Washington Redskins NFL team. The company has been supporting the Canberra Raider of the NRL since 2012.
