Harsha’s surprise visit to CB, SEC

Policy Planning, Economic Affairs, Child, Youth and Cultural Affairs Deputy Minister Harsha de Silva made surprise visits to the Central Bank and SEC yesterday morning to the absolute shock of the current heads of the two institutions.
“In the morning my secretary and I got into the car and decided to pay visits to the Central Bank and SEC. To say the least, they were shocked as they had no knowledge we were coming,” Minister de Silva quipped. “We met with Deputy Governor Nandal Weerasinghe and several others at the Central Bank and at the SEC we met with SEC Chairman Nalaka Godahewa and a few other officials,” he added.
