Hameedia opens newest branch in Kiribathgoda

Continuously setting the benchmark in the fashion industry, Hameedia, Sri Lanka’s leading menswear specialist recently opened its newest branch in Kiribathgoda at the Udeshi City Shopping Complex. The ceremonial opening was attended by Chief Guest Raja Nanayakkara, Chairman of NEM Constructions, along with M.G. Perera, Chairman, Udeshi City (Pvt) Ltd, Fouzul Hameed, Managing Director, Hameedia and Hussain Sadique, Deputy Managing Director, Hameedia. Also present were Thusitha Wijesena, Chairman of Kandy City Center, P. Manamperi, Chairman of Noni Constructions, Deshabandu Tennakoon, Senior Superintendent of Police, Hameedia’s senior management and staff as well as members of the local community.
The ceremonial opening commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the unveiling of a commemorative plaque at the new Hameedia outlet, and the lighting of the traditional oil lamp. The new and exclusive branch is located at No. 94. Udeshi City Shopping Complex, Makola Road, Kiribathgoda. Kiribathgoda is one of the largest towns in Colombo that caters to multiple markets. With a floor space of 4000 square feet, the new showroom offers all of Hameedia’s exclusive brands such as Le Bond, Envoy, FH, Raymond, Lee Adidas and also offers an extensive range of men’s and ladies’ brands. The brand new branch will continue to support Hameedia’s constant quest to revolutionize men’s fashion in Sri Lanka.
Commenting on the branch opening, Fouzul Hameed, Managing Director, Hameedia stated, “Kiribathgoda is a very large town in Colombo and has many fashion retail outlets.
