As enthusiastic cricket fans in Sri Lanka gather around their television sets to watch the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, Emirates, an official partner of the event has provided yet another opportunity to win tickets to World Cup matches being played in the country.

Visitors to the Cinnamon Lakeside Terrace and Library can leave their business cards to stand a chance to win tickets to the matches and also be eligible to win a return air ticket to Singapore, the award-winning Dubai-based airline said.  More tickets to World Cup Matches as well as merchandise can be won at the 'Quiz Night' at the Cheers Pub at the Cinnamon Grand every Monday.

Meanwhile, members of the Colombo Swimming Club and visitors to the Cheers Pub and the Cricket Club Cafe can also leave their business cards at these three locations and stand a chance to win match tickets from Emirates.

"Emirates has already enabled scores of cricket fans in Sri Lanka to experience World Cup action at the grounds through a series of on-going promotions," Devika Ellepola, Emirates Sales Manager in Sri Lanka said. "These latest promotions will offer more people a chance to be in the thick of this exciting event."

Emirates is also giving away 50 tickets to the ICC Cricket World Cup to its customers who make flight reservations online or purchase air tickets and register with the airline.

Emirates is an official partner of the ICC Cricket World Cups of 2011 and 2015.  The third largest and most viewed sporting event in the world, the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 hosted by Sri Lanka, India, and Bangladesh commenced on Saturday 19th February and will conclude on Saturday April 2.
