People’s Bank Foreign RemittanceGold Fortune 2016’ promotionrecently saw the completion of its 23rddraw, announcingI.Washila of the People’s Bank Ridigama Branchas the winner of the week.
The draw was launched in June with the aim of promoting the use of People’s InstantRemit, People’s e-Remittance, Swift and Telex amongst those living and working abroad when sending money to their loved ones in Sri Lanka.
Present at the draw was P.R.S Jayathissa, Assistant General Manager (Human resources – Administration), People’s Bank and Anoma Mudduwa - Assistant General Manager(OCS), People’s Bank.
The promotion encourages people to make remittances of any amount to be eligible to receive a gold sovereign coin on a weekly basis for a period of 28 weeks up to December 2016.
