M3Force, a security solutions and service provider, recently launched its security service mobile application recently, which is known as ‘Commando on Call’.
It is designed specially to cater to the elderly, tourists in need of help, VIP escort service etc.
How it works is, once the app is downloaded, if the individual is in a dangerous situation, he/she has to press a button on the mobile device in order to be immediately connected to the M3Force control room.
This request would be then automatically-assigned to the closest commandos available within a serviceable radius, who will acknowledge it within seconds and rush to the customer’s location.
“We have noticed a lot of people who work late in the night, when ladies travel in the night they might get attacked, and tourists may find situations where they don’t know what to do.
“With the app, you press a button, we will trace where you are, our commandos around the country will come to your place, at any time of the day, security service we provide anywhere,” an official said at the launch which took place at the International Fire, Industrial Safety and Homeland Security exhibition, in Colombo last Friday.
M3Force Chairman Vijitha Welikada said that ‘Commando on Call’ is a special security service that combines cutting-edge technology with the personal service of well-trained security professionals.
He added that M3Force has invested significantly in the best technological equipment to initiate this service. Accordingly, the control room is equipped with state-of the art technology and professional surveillance experts, he said.
They also said that they provide 24-hour service with their crew of 400 trusted commandos.
It was noted that with the app, for now they cover only about 20 Kilometre radius from their office in Nawala. Further, they said that the customer has to do a monthly payment in order to use the service.
