Anton launches Dimensions to revolutionise architectural industry

Dimensions by Anton, at 404, Nawala Road, Nawala was ceremoniously opened by St. Anthony’s Industries Group (Pvt.) Ltd Managing Director Arul Gnanam while many prominent architects including Sri Lanka Institute of Architects (SLIA) Vice President Archt. Russell Dandeniya, Council Member Archt. Dinuk Senanayake and other committee members, interior decorators, furniture fabricators and other well-wishers were present.


The concept store is a state-of-the-art building that has all its showpieces embedded within its structure. The 70 year old statehouse had been refurbished using Anton’s innovative finishing products and has been furnished with classical furniture masterpieces retailed by premium furniture supplier Masterpieces.


Speaking at the occasion, St. Anthony’s Industries Group Executive Director Jeevan Gnanam said that the company has invested its expertise and experience gathered over a period of 60 years being in manufacturing to enable local manufacturing of many innovative products. Dimensions concept store is also home to the largest and only full colour 3D printer with the biggest build volume in Sri Lanka. The subsidiary company of St. Anthony’s Group that operates the 3D printer is equipped with capabilities such as 3D modeling and designing as value added services to Architects Fraternity.


Anton a brand name synonymous with quality and trust in water transportation and storage has ventured in to designer hardware industry with their pioneering efforts to manufacture uPVC doors and windows locally. This product widely accepted in Europe and in neighboring Asian countries provides access control solutions that are energy efficient.


During the inauguration ceremony St. Anthony’s Industries Group also showcased the innovative decorative board Griffin. Manufactured with PVC using a Celuka process, Griffin boards can be used for furniture manufacturing, wall cladding, ceiling solutions, UV printing and many more applications. The board which is 100 percent recyclable, can be used instead of porcelain tiles, wood, asbestos sheets, plywood and MDF. This product is 100 percent water proof, light weight and even has a better fire rating.


The Dimensions Concept Store building is also, equipped with an Anton Armor Roofing solution. This superior product, manufactured uPVC is protected with an ASA layer, ensuring UV protection and colour stability over a longer period. Unlike other low quality market entrants, Armor roofing sheet is manufactured using top quality raw materials and also has a unique design that supports the cost reduction in terms of roofing structure.
