AAT Business School Higher Diploma in Accounting and Finance (HDAF)

The AAT Business School is Launching its Higher Diploma in Accounting and Finance programme to those who possess G.C.E. (Advanced Level) or equivalent qualification 

AAT Business School ,the Higher Education wing of AAT Sri Lanka that focuses on Executive development and Upliftment of students to become aspiring leaders committed towards enhancing competencies and recognition in Sri Lanka,isgoing to launchits newly structured course- the Diploma in Accounting & Finance, and the Higher Diploma in Accounting &Finance (HDAF) on 16th of August at Hotel Galadari.

The AAT passed finalists with working experience or members of AAT or those possessing equivalent qualifications can enroll to the second year of the HDAF programme. Furthermore, non-management graduates who wish to have accounting or finance qualification or employees in private or public sector who possess working experience in the fields of Accounting / Finance too could enroll for the programme.  

The Chief Guest of  the launching ceremony will be the Vice Chancellorof the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJP),Prof.SampathAmaratunge. 

Following the launch eminent speakers Mr.Kishu Gomes - CEO/Managing Director, Chevron Lubricants Lanka Plc,Dr. Arul Sivagananathan ,Managing Director Hayleys Power and Energy and BPO, Prof. SampathAmaratunge - Vice Chancellor, USJP and Mr. Dinesh Weerakkody ,Chairman at the National Human Resource Development Council of Sri Lanka, Ministry of National Policy and Economic Affairs, HR Cornucopia Lankawill line up for a forum moderated by Mr. Samitha Perera , Director/CEO , Ceylon Biscuits Limited (foods) International to discuss on “Challenging Traditional Wisdom”.

The participants of the Higher Diploma in Accounting &Finance (HDAF) program will be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of advanced concepts and principles of accounting, finance,  management, economics and other related social sciences and apply that knowledge in the decision making process and Improve the  critical thinking ability, and communication, negotiation, analytical and  problem solving skills in professional and business contexts, display leadership, ability to work in teams, commitment for learning, and adaptability in the professional environment and ultimately develop positive attitudes and responsibility towards work and society.
