The UNP Working Committee will become defunct from Tuesday December 31 2019.
UNP MP Mujibur Rahuman who responded to the matter said a new working committee will be appointed if the present working committee becomes defunct as per the party constitution.
Also other sources said party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe will look into the matter once he returns from his tour of India today. Mr Wickremesinghe was on a private visit
to India .
