The Chairman of a Pradeshiya Sabha in the Mannar District and others of his family were placed under quarantine from Wednesday (22).
A team of PHIs of the Puttalam MOH and the police that visited the chairman’s house on information said that he had returned home from Mannar had inquired from him about the date and from where he returned. However, the PHIs said he could not state precisely the date he returned.
MOH Chanru Fernando said the chairman and others of his family were subject to house quarantine pending reports of the medical tests.
