Environment Ministry Secretary Dr. Anil Jasinghe, who served as the Director General of Health Services during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, is yet to be called for deliberations for the task force dealing with the pandemic task, Daily Mirror learns. Earlier, Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi informed Parliament that Dr. Jasinghe would be called for the meetings of the task force.
However, Daily Mirror learns that Dr. Jasinghe had not been invited yet for any meeting.
