Sri Lanka is among the top 5 best 20 countries to visit in the world, the Tourism Ministry said.
Accordingly, Sri Lanka has been ranked 5th in the Readers’ Choice 2021 rankings conducted by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine.
Portugal is in first place while New Zealand, Japan and Morocco are ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
Sri Lanka was also selected as one of the best fitness destinations in the world. Last year, Conde Nast Traveler magazine ranked Sri Lanka as one of the best destinations in the Readers’ Choice rankings.
