Tribute to Dr. Nilan Kalidasa Rodrigo

To be honest, we hadn’t heard about him until my daughter wanted to consult a gynaecologist after she found out she was pregnant. Incidentally, Dr. Nilan Kalidasa Rodrigo was the only available gynaecologist at the time in a popular private hospital close to our residential area. My daughter visited him for consultation, bearing the burden in mind that she needed to pick the best doctor to deliver her precious little baby. After the very first visit, she had already decided Dr. Nilan would deliver her baby because of the amazing atmosphere he creates during consultations and the quality time he spends explaining all nitty-gritties.

He is a friendly, fun-loving personality with a smile on his face at all times. Above all, he is a real human being with amazing values and qualities. In a highly business-oriented world where most of the doctors encourage patients to undergo a caesarean (which is a more profitable option for them), it was fascinating to see how Dr. Nilan prepared my daughter to follow the natural causes and law of nature. She delivered a perfectly healthy baby last November through a natural birth, which wouldn’t have been possible if not for Dr. Nilan. He is a role model to the medical sector and we have our utmost respect to him. 
Dr. Nilan, we ask for God’s abundant blessings for you to serve more and more people and wish you nothing but the best in years to come! Thank you for bringing our bundle of joy safe and sound to this world.
