‘Dear Victoria’ and ‘Loveena,’ two novels by popular novelist Mohan Raj Madawala, have been translated into English
The launch will be chaired by Prof. Swarna Chandrasekara, while Chandraratne Bandara and Shamel Jayakody, two Lankan writers now living in Canada, will take part.
The two novels have been translated by Somasiri Munasinghe, an expatriate journalist domiciled in Canada.
Launched together with the two novels would be a short story collection titled “A Magician’s Tale”, translated into English by Maheshi Weerakoon, former lecturer at the University of Peradeniya.
