K. Dhanushan and Kaya Daluwatte grabbed the limelight, emerging champions in the Boys and Girls categories respectively at the Sri Lanka Junior Open Golf Championship 2022, contested at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC).
Over 80 young golfers participated in the tournament which was sponsored by Prima Sunrise Bread and held from December 20 to 22.
K. Danushan, with scores of 73,71 and 71 was the overall Boys Champion, edging Nirekh Tejwani by five points, while Kaya Daluwatte notched up scores of 71, 67 and 71 to comfortably retain her title as overall Girls Champion.
